Vladimir Pavlenko is a Seattle artist who was born in Russia where he began studying and practicing his art as a young boy. He graduated from the Magadan Regional Art School and the Art Institute of Magadan. He also studied art at the Pedagogical Institute of Art in Harborosk, Russia.

For six years Vladimir worked as a freelance artist with the Russian Art Foundation where he showed his work at several exhibitions including Territory of Hope (1995), Interdruk (1992), Last Zone (1991), and Soviet Far East (1990). During that time Vladimir was also a member of the Russian Association of Art, which selected him for a special two-month art program in Moscow where he worked on etchings and paintings.

Since arriving in the United States in 1986, Vladimir has become a U.S. citizen, and he has continued painting with oil on canvas. He is the former art director of Art & International Productions, which has won several prestigious awards under his direction including the Communicator Award of Distinction (2002), Communicator Award of Excellence (2002), Silver Summit Creative Award (2001), and two Bonnie Awards from the Advertising Federation of Alaska (2001 and 2000).

Currently, Vladimir is the art director of the PavlenCo Design Group, which is a full service creative design agency in Seattle, WA. He directs and designs the creation of corporate identity systems, logos, brochures, annual reports, packaging, Web sites, and other advertising and art-related project
